FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What equipment does JAC recommend for construction sites?
For construction and site-support work, JAC currently recommends counterbalanced forklifts for material handling, loading and unloading, and electric scissor lifts for safe access at height during installation, fit-out or maintenance work. Both are available in a range of capacities and working heights to suit different site conditions.
JAC’s standard counterbalanced forklifts are best suited to prepared, hardstand or reasonably level site surfaces rather than rough, unformed terrain. If your site has rough or uneven ground, talk to our team about your specific conditions so we can advise on the most suitable equipment for your situation.
JAC’s electric scissor lift range covers working heights from 7.8m up to 14m across compact and advanced lithium-battery models, suitable for most fit-out, installation and maintenance tasks on construction sites and in commercial buildings.
JAC’s electric scissor lifts are zero-emission and designed primarily for stable, controlled access on solid, level surfaces, which makes them well suited to indoor fit-out work and prepared outdoor or hardstand areas. For rough or sloped outdoor terrain, a different access solution may be more appropriate, so our team can advise based on your site conditions.
It depends on the materials you’re handling, but JAC’s counterbalanced forklift range spans 1.5T to 12T, covering everything from lighter materials handling through to heavier deliveries and bulk loading. Tell us your typical load weights and site conditions and we’ll recommend a suitable capacity.
Our team can talk through the best equipment approach for your project, whether that’s a purchase for ongoing use across multiple sites or a solution suited to a specific project timeframe. Get in touch with details of your project and we’ll advise on the most practical option.
